City break review of Krakow!

Here is his review……………..
Great 4 days . Really interesting place .
Hotel was excellent ,very friendly and helpful staff.
Although overlooking a main road with the window closed completely soundproofed and a large selection at breakfast. Had lunch at the hotel one day, very good. Room very spacious and probably the most comfortable hotel bed I‘ve slept in as far back as I can remember.
Hotel situated about 25 min walk to the old town square but if you walked up the road for 5 mins to a main junction you could catch a tram for the princely sum of 50 p which would take you in to the old town and then a short walk from the tram stop to the main square
Best part to wander about in was the old Jewish Quarter with its quirky bars.
Place in general very cheap. My mate and I struggled to spend more than £12 for the two of us for a meal and drinks and the best pizza we’ve had in years was only £4!
Caught some Jazz in an underground cellar Friday evening and also a live band in a pub on the Saturday night .
Both the Salt Mine and Auschwitz tours were excellent the hotel just phoned the company for us and we were already booked on so just a question of pick up times which were arranged . Pick up from the Hotel so all good.
If you were to book the tours separately when you got there it would not save you a great deal of money. £10 I think so best to do what you did , pre book….saves the hassle.
Both these tours involve a lot of walking so if anyone else asks you need to be relatively fit and mobile with good sturdy shoes. On the Auschwitz tour we got picked up at 8 am and got back to the city centre 7 hrs later so a full day really. The salt mine you have to descent about 370 steps.
